Fitness, Balance and Flexibility...

Gentle Chair Yoga 

Rooted in Hatha yoga, this seated yoga
class incorporates breathing techniques,
guided meditation and gentle mobility of
muscles and joints to improve strength,
mindfulness, flexibility, balance and posture.​

 

Taoist Tai Chi Instruction

Promote good health with these relaxing,
 slow movements that will help you gain
balance, strength and flexibility.Train your
mind and body with moving meditation. 

 

Line Dancing - Beginners 

Learn this popular dance from one of the
best line dance instructors in Vancouver.

Interested in learning or haven't played in a long time?
No prior knowledge is required, come and learn.

OSC Bridge Tournament
Bridge tournaments are held once a month from
noon - 4:00 pm. Please call the centre for date
information.

 

Bingo

Enjoy this social activity and feel good about
contributing to the Centre. After the payout,
the Bingo proceeds go towards our programs.

one-on-one lessons. Learn how to connect with your
friends and family, send e-mails, photos and more!

Fun and Fitness - M

Come and have fun while doing a complete
body workout that includes cardio and
muscle strengthening using bands and weights. 

 

 

Osteofit - M

Gentle exercises meant for people who have
problems with balance, posture, agility and
strength. Great for people with arthritis,
osteoporosis and osteopenia. - No drop ins

Belly Dancing

Have you always wanted to do the shimmy?  Join the class and learn the art of this beautiful dance form. Shimmy and shake with this fun low impact workout.

Zumba Gold 

This is a fun upbeat fitness class. Dance your way to health using weights and a variety of Latin-inspired dances. 

Mahjong - M

This is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation and involves a degree of chance. The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols.


 

Scrabble - M*

Come and play this fun board game, have some laughs and learn some new words.

Art Collective​ - M*

Are you an artist who would like a change of scenery? Gather at the Centre with art loving members who enjoy sketching and drawing. Or, let us know what artistic talents you'd like to bring to the table.

Knitting - M*

Join the knitters circle and have some fun. Bring your current project or come and start a new one. The knitters work on all the items (baby clothes, booties, hats, scarves, etc.) that are sold during our Annual Spring and Fall Bazaars. Beginners are welcome.


 


 

Paper Shredding - D

Drop by the first Wednesday of the month with your documents and we would be happy to shred them for you between 10:00 am - Noon.


 

Foot Care Francine Johnson LPN

Keep your feet in optimal care with a one-on-one visit with a professional. Franny will treat your tootsies and provide tips on how to prevent further problems.  

Appointments are available 1 day per month.
